About the Clinic

Dr. Bernie Lalonde

After 25 years in the sports medicine field at Carleton University and the Sports and Spinal Injury Clinic, and 10 years at the Heart Institute as a saphenologist (dissects veins and arteries for bypass surgery), Dr. Lalonde undertook to expand his field and scope of practise, to include cosmetic medicine. He was inspired by his long time friend and teacher, Dr. Bob Morrell, who operates one of the busiest clinic on the west coast where he spent much of his time learning the craft and science of this new and exciting field.

It is wise to remember that all these cosmetic non-surgical techniques are relatively new and continuously evolving. There is no room to stand still and rely on old procedures because new technologies emerge with every passing month.

Dr. Lalonde is a member of the American Society for Laser and Cosmetic Medicine.
