Read our update on Laser and Light Source Treatments

March 2008

V BEAM - Chrysalis rejuvenation clinic has recently acquired this vascular laser. We have been most impressed with our results for treating spider veins on the face and legs and particularly with the treatment of ROSACEA. It is an extremely comfortable laser with a dynamic cooling device that cools the skin just prior to treatment. V BEAM has been available for several years and has proven itself as one of the most efficacious vascular lasers on the market. See the before and after shots on our website.

THERMAGE® - There has been a recent upsurge in interest in this technology as the results continue to impress. Recently added to our equipment is the new treatment tip for off face procedures such as the abdomen, arms, legs and buttocks. This new tip delivers more energy deeper to the tissue thus stimulating collagen more efficaciously.

FRAXEL® - We continue to have spectacular results with acne scarring and have recently treated several post surgical scar patients with equally amazing results .

JANE IREDALE SKIN CARE PRODUCTS - Due to an increasing interest amongst you, our clients, for post treatment continued skin care, after careful research, we will be offering JANE IREDALE products in our clinic. We will be holding quite soon, seminars on these products. If not already on our email list, simply register at info@chrysalisclinic.ca so that you can be alerted to the upcoming events. These products are mineral based and contain no oil, talc, FD&C dyes, synthetic preservatives or fragrance; a true extension of skin care. They will be formally introduced at our booth at the NATIONAL WOMEN'S SHOW….MARCH 8-9, 2008 at the Congress Centre.

Lastly, Dr. Lalonde will be attending the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF LASER MEDICINE AND SURGERY seminar in early April in Florida and will be reporting in future newsletters about new and upcoming technologies. This society is the premier society for cosmetic medicine.
