Obagi® and ProDerm

Obagi and ProDerm are cosmeceuticals developed by dermatologists, one in California, the other in Montreal. We chose these 2 lines as we feel they are the top of the line in their field. Obagi in particular, was developed specifically to aid in obtaining optimal results in most light-based therapies. In particular it prepares the skin both in bleaching and exfoliating when resurfacing technologies are being considered.

As stand-alone therapies, they have also proven to be very effective in reducing discoloration (brown spots), helping the skin recover from acne and smoothening out unevenness. Patients have been pleased with the evenness of tone and color it brings to the skin surface. As with most topical applications, several months are required to obtain optimum results. For patients preparing for Fraxel® resurfacing, Obagi has shown particular benefits, enhancing the effects Fraxel brings to the skin surface.

These products have also proven their worth in maintenance programs so essential after all light-based treatments.

Both companies also have excellent high SPF blocks that we carry at Chrysalis.
